I’m not sure how I came to settle on launching a beachwear brand, maybe partly down to living in permanent sunshine or maybe because as a body aware woman I wanted to design swimwear that made all women feel comfortable regardless of shape or age.
Beach Seventy Six was born whilst on holiday in Bali after seeing a lot of beautiful swimwear in the boutiques and thinking there was a gap in the market for something well-made and stylish. The concept behind the brand is to create swimwear in either black, white or grey in different cuts to flatter all figures that’s wearable and sexy.
I use real models in the shoots with the minimum amount of re-touching so when you’re shopping on the site you can decide whether you think the design will suit your shape. I manufacture in Brazil, partly because I really want to holiday there but also because the fabric quality is brilliant. Customers are already saying the swimwear is the comfiest they’ve worn.
I’ll be adding a touch of glamour soon by launching a line featuring crystals from Swarovski, still in keeping with the simple and stylish idea but adding a bit more luxury. Then eventually a personalisation concept.
It’s been an eventful experience getting to launch but I’m proud of the range so far and I hope you enjoy wearing it as much as I do!
